Your privacy is very important to The My Computer Partner. This
privacy policy spells out My Computer Partner's commitment to
respecting the privacy of the visitors to our website. My Computer
Partner reserves the right to change this policy.
Whether you enroll online or offline, or are just a visitor, we are
very careful with what we do with your information. Collection of
information is usually grouped into two categories: personal, which
is information identifiable to a specific client, and aggregate,
which is general demographic information that does not identify any

My Computer Partner first uses your personal information to process
and review your application for listings and mortgages. Once you
have opted-in, we use your information to process your requests,
personalize My Computer Partner mailings and the website based on
your interests, including making you aware of special offers,
newsletters, and commercial offerings that may be of interest. My Computer
Partner mostly does this by the periodic mailings sent to your
postal address or to your email address. As a Our client you agreed

We maintain a list of client-provided email addresses, for the
purpose of sending order confirmations and status reports,
reminders, promotional information about Our news, products and
special offers. If you join My Computer Partner through one of our
online sites, you will receive our free electronic newsletters. All
Our clients also have the option of signing up for this and other
Our newsletters too. If you wish to have your name removed from our
email list, or you want to sign up for additional Our newsletters,

section of the Account Info area of our site. If you change
your mind about receiving email or a particular newsletter, simply
go back to edit your preferences. We also provide email opt-out
information in our emails. We also may call you with special offers,
for example, to receive one of our other Offers. If you do not wish

From time to time, we may make Our lists available to other
computer companies whose products or services we think you will
enjoy. My Computer Partner also may send approved email
communications to clients on behalf of these outside parties. If you
do not want your name, address, email address or other personal
information to be provided for such purposes, please give us a call
at the number provided in your Client Agreement.
Other uses of your information
In the daily course of business, we may use your information to
assist you if you have questions or problems, or to perform normal
business operations. If you provide personal information in an
application that is eventually rejected, we retain that information
in case you apply again.
My Computer Partner uses strict procedures and safeguards designed
to protect the privacy of all personal information. All My Computer
Partner employees with access to personal information are required
to follow specific practices concerning its proper handling. Our
vendors and their employees who may need access to client
information, such as customer service and fulfillment vendors, are
held to strict confidentiality requirements. At times we may retain
third parties to analyze data we collect on our Ours and web sites,
solely to help us improve our services, and web sites. These
suppliers and other third parties are not authorized by us to use
your personal information in any other way. We may have to use
personal information to investigate complaints and protect My
Computer Partner and its clients, in compliance with the law, your
Agreement, and My Computer Partner policies. My Computer Partner may
release your information if required to do so by law, including
inquiries that are subject to a subpoena, court order or warrant.
Our online technology
My Computer Partner is a safe and secure environment for making
inquiries online. When you make a inquiries or join one of our
e-mail list, the transactional information, including your e-mail
address, is stored on our server for archival purposes only.
We use "cookie" technology on a limited basis. Cookies are pieces of
information that an Internet site transfers to your hard drive for
record-keeping purposes. The use of cookies is an industry standard
-- you'll find them almost everywhere on the Internet. My Computer
Partner uses cookies to recognize clients when they return to our
sites. Once we know it's you, we can customize your online visit. We
can show you hot new releases based on your preferences, alert you
to new website features, or tell you what your featured Selection
is. We may also evaluate our content and services and tailor our
websites, for clients and visitors, based on other information we
collect such as IP addresses, which are numbers assigned to your
computer whenever you use the Internet, pixel tags (or clear gifs),
and the type of Internet browser or operating system you are using.
This information is collected in the aggregate, but we may tie it to
your personal information through cookie use as described above.
If a client enters our pages from the site of one of My Computer
Partner's partners, our system will recognize the path the visitor
has taken. My Computer Partner advertises on such partners' sites or
we've entered into a promotional partnership with them. We track the
number of visitors to see the success of our online marketing or
promotional campaign. These partners will not know your personal
information, unless you are notified in advance, if you have given
it to them separately or consented to give it to them through us. In
cases where such partners have access to your information, we
contractually bind them to keep your information confidential.
Access to Your Client Information

What if you're not a Our client, but you've heard from My Computer
Partner?
If you're not a client, but you've been contacted by My Computer
Partner, we may have received your information in a few different
ways. First, another client may have referred you under our "Get A
Friend" or "Sign Up A Friend" programs. For the online program,
clients will give us your name and email address in order for them
to customize an invitation for you to join one or more of our Ours.
You also may receive similarly customized, email reminders from your
friend about this invitation. If your friend has submitted your
information offline, you will hear from us offline as well. Either
way, if you apply for Client, your information will be used in
accordance with the rest of this privacy policy. If you choose not
to apply online, your email address will not be retained.
You may have received an offer from us, whether through postal mail,
by phone or by email. If you were a prior client of one of ours, we
may have invited you back. My Computer Partner may also have
received your information from one of our partners or from the
mailing, opt-in emailing, or phone lists of a reputable company. If
you do not want to be included in these lists in the future, please

Unless we are using an opt-in only list in our marketing efforts, My
Computer Partner will screen our lists before we send such offers.
If The My Computer Partner Company changes
My Computer Partner has been a leading service provider in the computer
sales and web site industry and we hope to be around for a long
time to come. In the event all or part of the company is sold or
dissolved, we will transfer information we have about you to one or
more third parties with a requirement that such third parties treat
your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy as
it exists at the time of the transfer. If we close down one of our
services or shut down a website, we will keep your information
secure and will only use it, again, in accordance with the terms of
our then current privacy policy.
